Hanging on

Hey folks! Here's the man back for more blogging action. Ok, maybe not that much but it's still something. Well, I still have the research to do for Project Work (Bloody stupid PI thing, sucking my blood. Don't know what crap to write for it...) and Tamil essay to write. And I bloody well left my History file in school so I can't do history outline. Hope the teacher understands. (Well, not likely but I just hope she doesn't give me a hard time. I really didn't mean to forget my file)

Well, I found this on Sulaiman's tagboard written by some 'T.N.G.' guy and I just wanted to share this with everyone.

Qn: How many TJC students does it take to change a lightbulb? Ans: 0. They all think they very bright already.

Qn: How many HCJC students does it take to change a lightbulb? Ans: The whole school... to compete with RJC...

Qn: How many RJC students does it take to change a lightbulb? Ans: 4 whole faculties. One to design the new bulb, one to test, one to market and one to write a stupid Email about lightbulbs.

Qn: How many NYJC students does it take to change a lightbulb? Ans: Not Applicable. Still using oil lamps.

Qn: How many IJC students does it take to change a lightbulb? Ans: Not Applicable. Lightbulb under construction.

Qn: How many VJC students does it take to change a lightbulb? Ans: The whole school. One change. The rest cheer.

Qn: How many MJC students does it take to change a lightbulb? Ans: 0. They got better things to do like trying to not kena retain.

Qn: How many CJC students does it take to change a lightbulb? Ans: 0. No lights... yeaahhh....

Qn: How many ACJC students does it take to change a lightbulb? Ans: 0. They pay other JCs to do it.

Qn: How many SAJC students does it take to change a lightbulb? Ans: The whole school. One change, the rest pray.

Not trying to be be rude to the other JCs or what-so-ever but I think it's rather a well thought of satire. Now, if I was not a TPJC student, I might add this to the list:

Qn: How many TPJC students does it take to change a lightbulb? Ans: 0. They are all too slack to care about such things.

I mean, it's not my own observation. It's what my friends in secondary school used to tell me often. "Tampines JC slack lah! Very slack one!!" Even the teachers used to say that. But I realised how wrong it was after I came here. I mean, take my own class for example.

1) Benjamin failed his 1st Econs quiz because he didn't take it seriously. Thus, he actually seeked the teacher's help and for the next 2-3 days, had 2 hr study sessions with her. Now, he's top in the class for the latest Econs assignment.
2) Talisa virtually studies 24/7. She always has good questions to ask the teachers after each lesson and she still studies for Hindi exams during every break time she has. Not to mention her emotionally demanding role in SYF Drama and debate competitions and yea, Pre-U Seminar. And yet she can cope.
3) Kim Peng usually's the kind to relax around and just think about nothing but soccer all day. (MY GOD, HE ACTUALLY READS ABOUT SOCCER IN THE LIBRARY FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE!!!) Now, he has started studying and paying attention in class.

They serve as really good role models for me. Looking at them, I get scared and paranoid about my studies, so now I'm diligently at work to rectify my mistakes and work harder. Now, as a TPJC student, I'll write this in the list instead:

Qn: How many TPJC students does it take to change a lightbulb? Ans: Everyone. They are too concerned about their studies to forgoe such an important thing. But maybe a riot will break out because of the large crowd...Hehe

Ok, got to go. Sleep is coming into my eyes and I really need my 6 hrs. By the way, Tamil Pre-U Seminar at Yishun JC really sucked today, although the insight provided by some of the teachers was really useful. Their dances were the sucky things because lets face it, dancing horribly to a stupidly edited version of the 'Chandramukhi' song is not called a fushion dance in my opinion... (Not being bitchy but really, they have to try harder to please the audience man) Bye!!
